October 19, 2013: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. New Jersey Beekeepers Association Fall State Meeting hosted by the Central Jersey Beekeepers Association. The featured speaker will be Dr. Thomas D. Seeley, Professor at Cornell University, who has focused on studying and understanding swarm intelligence. He will present on "Honeybee Democracy" and "The Beehive as a Honey Factory". There will be a Q&A and a round table to end the day. The meeting will be held at the Rutgers EcoComplex, Environmental Research and Extension Center, 1200 Florence-Columbus Rd., Bordentown. Attendance is limited to the first 150 registrants, so register as soon as possible. The cost is $23 for adult members; $10 for children under 12 years of age if paid by October 12, 2013. If you pay at the door on October 19, 2013 the cost is $26 per person for adults and children under 12 years old will be $12.
