As beekeepers, we love to learn and share our knowledge with other beekeepers. And at Kelley Beekeeping, we want to be your source for all things beekeeping; from the products you need to expert advice you can trust, whether you’re a first-time beekeeper, hobbyist, sideliner or commercial operator.

We offer two classes to arm you with the knowledge you need to be successful in your beekeeping endeavors. Classes are held at our facility in Clarkson, Kentucky.

Beekeeping 101

Learn the basics of beekeeping in this comprehensive full-day class. We offer Beekeeping 101 the first Saturday of every month from November through March. This class is led by an experienced beekeeper and covers all the basics of first-year beekeeping. Cost is $30 per person. All class participants will receive a 5% off coupon to use in our Retail Store on the day of class.

Beekeeping 201

This class is a follow-up to our Beekeeping 101, and will help beekeepers navigate their second year of beekeeping. This class is typically held in January and March, and is led by our apicultural specialist. Cost is $30 per person. All class participants will receive a 7.5% off coupon to use in our Retail Store on the day of class.

Field Day

Learn and network with beekeepers from across the country at our annual Field Day event. Held at our Clarkson, Kentucky facility, Field Day is a full day of classes and demonstrations on a wide variety of topics.
